Tribal Turquoise and Coral Drops / 925 Silver

These delicate earrings are made of solid 925 Silver[more than Sterling ] and set with Turquoise and Coral (sacred stones to Tibetan Buddhists) to form a Mandala shape.
This old Newari style is hardly crafted any more since it is extremely work-involved.
The traditional craftsmen have largely emigrated from Patan / Nepal to seek higher wages executing different styles elsewhere.
The little shop we visit in Patan only had a very small selection left and I am happy to showcase them here.
