Inspired by our hikes in the of the Cascade Mountains these lightweight earrings are finished with Sterling Silver ear-wires. We etch the plates by applying a resist to the metal which then gets immersed in a mild acid which cuts the contours of the design into the plate. The background is a durable black oxide finish to make the image stand out.
