Tuareg Cross Earrings
We learned of these special amulets when traveling with the Tuareg Nomads into the Sahara Desert.
The cross is primarily seen as a protective amulet, offering safety to those who wear it, particularly during travel. It’s thought to ward off dangers and ensure safe passage through the harsh desert environment. The cross is also believed to connect the wearer to their ancestors and the divine.
Symbolism:
The four arms of the cross are interpreted as representing the cardinal directions (north, south, east, and west)and the four essential elements of life in the desert: the sun, the moon, the stars, and water.
Cast in Pewter the cross is adorned with Sea-Sediment Jasper and Sterling Earwires.
Since Jasper is a natural stone; please allow for slight variations in color.
